All three formats express the same probability of winning — only the way they are written differs. Decimal is the simplest: multiply the stake by the odds to get the total return. American minus odds (e.g. −125) means you need to stake ৳125 to make a profit of ৳100.
Cricket match winner example
In a limited-overs match, Team A has odds of 1.65 and Team B has odds of 2.30. If you bet ৳1,000 on Team B and Team B wins, you get back ৳2,300 (profit ৳1,300); if Team A wins, you lose ৳1,000.
